You never know what type of day are you going to have when you wake up. Especially after an Easter break it’s pretty boring. You get up you have to go to work. All the usual “ground-hog days” However today turned out to be just that little bit different. It was quite a normal day until I got on to my lunch. I was just walking as I do usually around at lunchtime. I go and get the odd bits of shopping in that I need. I do anything else I need to do and while I am walking up a street in the town centre of Hull called Whitefriargate, I came across an orange man dancing in the street. It was so weird. I don’t know what I was doing but I thought I’d video him and stick him in my blog. He entertained me so I thought he would entertain some of my readers. Take a look at the video below. Don’t worry it plays the right way up Lol!

Further up we’ve got an old ancient ruin at the top of Whitefriargate. It’s called Beverley Gate. (more on this another time) Next to Beverley Gate on the seats is a small (but growing) crowd. The people included our Lord Mayor, a man dressed as a town crier and a local celebrity called Mally Welburn. What was this all for I wondered. Well apparently today we are celebrating St Georges Day and now also Kingston Upon Hull Day. You can see everybody cheering as again I filmed it. I thought you might like to see the people of Hull all celebrating out there on national Kingston Upon Hull day .

Again I set off walking and went about my business popped off to the shops got my few bits I needed. I was walking back the same way and there in front of me a load of St. George’s Knights So I decided to grab a few pics and I got all of them in front of the Queen Victoria Square on the monument.
For me as a blogger this was an eventful dinner hour. It was just a bit of a weird hour that I didn’t expect but cheered me up so I thought it might cheer you up. Please have a look at the videos and the pictures and let me know what you think.
